At Coppell Bible, we practice child dedication—a ceremony in which believing parents, family members, and the church make a commitment before the Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s Word and God’s ways.
Child Dedication Registration
It’s really more of a parent dedication. Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to prayerfully raise the child in a godly way until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God. Parents who make this vow of commitment are instructed to raise the child in the ways of God and not according to their own ways.
Our next Child Dedication Ceremony is August 31, 2025.
If you are a Coppell Bible member and are interested in participating, please register at least a week prior to this date.
It is of the utmost importance to give children a strong spiritual foundation at every age. We are committed to partnering with parents to help their children know Jesus personally. Beyond child dedication, our KiDS and Student Ministries allow for children to meet Jesus in a way that is relevant and engaging for their age.
